Heart-rending pictures capture the moment a newborn baby was rescued
from inside a Beijing public toilet, China, after her mother gave birth
and walked away.The child became stuck, head-first, down the pipe of the toilet, and was
discovered by the police after members of the public called them to say
they could hear a baby crying.
Pictures show a traumatized police officer lifting the tiny infant to safety from the toilet in the floor.
